Who we are
MA Business Consulting (Maher AKIKI, Sworn Financial Expert, MOF 3172782) operates maherakiki.com and the client portal at portal.maherakiki.com. Contact: [email protected], Zouk Mikael, Keserwan, Mount Lebanon.
What we collect
Contact form: your name, email, company, the service you are interested in and your message.
Client portal account: your name, email, company, phone number and password (stored encrypted). If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive only your name, email address and profile picture from that provider. We never receive your Google or Facebook password.
Portal activity: meetings you book, documents we share with you (contracts, invoices, payment receipts, statements of account) and files you upload to us.
2-step verification: if you turn it on, a secret linked to your authenticator app. We do not receive your phone number for this.
How we use it
Only to reply to your enquiry, provide the accounting, reporting, due diligence and consulting services you engage us for, manage meetings and send service emails (booking confirmations, password resets). We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
Where it is stored
Portal data and files are stored with Supabase (database and private file storage) and the website runs on Cloudflare. Service emails are sent through Resend and Google Workspace. These providers process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy commitments.
Who can see your information
Each client can see only their own documents and bookings. Our team sees client data only to deliver the service. Professional confidentiality applies to all financial information you share with us.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are a client and afterwards for the period required by Lebanese accounting and tax record-keeping rules. Enquiries that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see, correct, export or delete your personal data, or to remove the Google or Facebook connection from your account, by writing to [email protected]. Deletion requests are completed within 30 days, except for records we must keep by law.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. The client portal stores a sign-in session in your browser so you stay logged in.
